1. What or Who influenced you to join Zonta Club of St. Paul.
In 1979 Helen Carlson introduced me to Zonta.

2. What are a few of the most memorable events of Zonta Club of St. Paul that you participated in? Please elaborate with dates, places etc.
In 1983 I attended the International Convention in Sydney Australia and enjoyed the glorious opening with people and flags from all countries and Zonta. Pride of the sculpture at the St. Paul Adult Detention Center, The Como Park Japanese Tea House. Donating for the Hemophilia's Children's Camps and Womens support during AIDS crisis for women (mothers, children,sisters and friends) that had no support system in place until Zonta. The Pleasure of presenting concerts with Sister Mary Davids and Sister Catherine Kessler from St. Catherines College.

3. How has Zonta Club Changed your life?
Ability to give to others and have a better understanding of so many needs.

4. How has Zonta Club changed others?
Making others aware of the importance of a Women's Service Organization.

5. Have you held any office position at the Local, District, or International level? If so when and which one?
I was President 1984-1986, as well as Secretary, Treasurer (twice), chair of Service Committee (five times) and Programs Committee (three times) and participated in all committees.

6. Have you attended any District or International Conventions? What are some memories of those you attended?

7. Do you have any pictures that would be of interest to others you could share? (Your pictures would be scanned and then returned to you)
Many: Japanese Tea House in Como Park, Presidents Dinners, Saturday Walkers and Eaters. (Available 2/15/2002)

8. Are there any events that should be highlighted for our 76th anniversary year?
Most current Global Events especially 1999 pictures of costumes of countries (Joann has them) and Setsuko Maruyama.
