President's Notes:

The May meeting will be our Annual Meeting. We will be installing Kathy Mangum as a board member. We will have representatives from the Hmong Women's Action Team and Women and Children's Recovery Community there to give us an update on their programs and the use of our grant money.

While this is more of a business meeting than program meeting, due to the nature of the presentations this would still be an excellent meeting to bring prospective members to. We really need to renew our energy around bringing new members into our group.

I want to thank all of you who attended the Area Meeting this month. We will look forward to a report on the day's events.

Planning for the District Meeting/Global Event is moving ahead. We should have an update for you at this meeting and will perhaps be able to announce some of the speakers.
