Linder's Gift Certificates:

We are once again going to raise money for the Convention Fund by selling gift certificates for Linders Garden Centers. We receive 15% of all gift certificates sold. Please contact Lois Nyman to order your certificates. Everyone buys plants in the Spring, please encourage them to buy them with our gift certificates. Linders Garden Centers are located throughout the Twin Cities. Thanks!

Dues are Due!

Your dues for 2003 are due in May. Please submit those payments to Peggy as soon as you are able. We hope that each of you will renew your membership. I know it becomes more difficult each year to make that commitment, but I urge you to remember what we are trying to accomplish in support of women throughout the world. Please renew your membership.

International Delegate Actions:

Last month we decided to defer action on the various International Convention items. I hope that we will take some time to discuss particularly the by-law changes around eligibility for officers positions. This can seriously affect our viability as an organization and I believe it will be a very hot topic of discussion at the International Convention.

I am not going to re-send those recommendations. I hope that you will each bring your copies from last month and be prepared to discuss these issues. If you have questions before we get to our meeting next week, let me know.

Hopefully, we will be back in our other meeting room so the sound will be better.

NOW National Conference:

We have reserved exhibitor space with Zonta Minneapolis at the National NOW Conference to be held on June 21-23 at the Radisson Riverfront in St. Paul. Exhibit times are from 8AM-9PM on Friday and Saturday and 8AM-4PM on Sunday. We are looking for people to work in 4 or 5 hour shifts. Minneapolis will have people at the booth, too but I'm hoping we can have a representative from each club there. Please look at your calendars and see if you are available to work any of these times:
